At the dawn of time, even before, existed an entity so undefinable that we may as well call it God. An all knowing, all being, form. There was nothing, matter, space or time, that was not a part of it.

In what could only be a willful act this entity condensed itself into a quantum singularity and shattered. What we commonly call the big bang. Not even this massive force could destroy the being totally.

• Its sentience was shattered to form the First Celestials.
• Its matter became the infinite planes of reality.
• Its time became the passage of matter through space.
• Its space became the universe in which the rest reside.

The Primary Celestials observed, waited, altered history, manipulated at their individual whim. They possessed immense power, and used it to isolate planes, join others together, and even annihilate yet others; just to see what happened. Whether part of some original divine plan, power leakage, or raw chance, sentient life developed. This led to Celestial interest and, of course, manipulation. Those depraved, evil and disgusting, twisted creatures were their first time failure became a concept known to Celestials. Some demanded further tests, others insisted upon the cessation of all tinkering. In the end, to solve the innate differences in the Celestial camps, they divided themselves into many groups and claimed a set of planes each. While done amicably most Celestials could not understand how their point of view was not mirrored by all others... and this led to division becoming isolation.
